Yea here I go again
You must think that I'm lame
Remembering back to us
Talking on aim
And stealing you're heart
That was never my aim See I let you leave and now
Nothing's the same

I'm picking you're brain
You pick me apart
I'm picking you're heart
You left me in dark
I guess all the pain and the hurt
And the worry you left me
Returned in the shell of a star

Damn do we end arm and arm
Or are we Armageddon
Guess you'll never know
Cause you never let him
Show how he love
And he trusts and he can do
But all of it showed
But you never were there

So let's really see if you cared
Nor If you needed
Then he would be there
To put all the blame
Onto you isn't fair
But all you care about
Is you're makeup and hair

You're taking a selfie
I'm taking you're shit
I see all you're pics
I see who you picked
And just know it eats me alive
You're happy within
That you're happy with him

Damn I guess I'm just jealous creeping
Thru you're Instagram
And find myself asking why the fuck that I still give a damn
About you , about us
Like mark give her the fuck up
And although I hate his guts
I gotta give you're man that thumbs up

Cause he was bringing you close
Now he's bin the one
Who's wanting the most
One minute I hate you
One minute I love you
We're right now I'm writing
And feeling em' both
I can't stop

Thinking about you

When I was given this beat
Immediately thought about you
Curse with the hurt
Is the one that I found you
Stuck here, I'm drinking
And thinking about you
Well all of my friends say I'm better with out you

Better with ought you right
Thought I found you
On the darkest night
Coulda shown you
What a red carpets like
Rode up on a dark horse
The darkest night

And the girls flowing like water now wanna give…...

...Week 2 – Essay Assignment Spring Quarter 2011 The Certification Statement This is to certify that this essay is my own original making after the researches I made personally from the Web and elsewhere. It contains all the statements which I downloaded and credited appropriately for the sources, also my own remarks and opinions in between many of these paragraphs, which I have made in ITALICS. The conclusion is my own reflection and opinion and the concluding remarks. I certify that this Essay was never submitted anywhere else, and if I had submitted it elsewhere, then I have reworked, revised and added and altered with supplementary and latest information, spending as much time as I would require to produce an original Essay for this class. Thank you, Sally Introduction Most cultures of the world have religious beliefs that supernatural powers can be compelled, or at least influenced, to act in certain ways for good or evil purposes by using ritual formulas. These formulas are considered to be called magic. This is very different from television and stage "magic" that depends on slight-of-hand tricks and contrived illusions rather than supernatural power. At times, this magic was called “black magic” and was used together with other forms known as sorcery, witchcraft and fortune telling. Centuries ago, these forms of magic were considered to be less......

...Assignment 1: Report on the Religious Life of Planet Earth Sandra Graham Professor David Jividen Religion 212 November 4, 2012 Discuss the criteria you will employ to determine if people on earth are religious — in other words, what does religion look like. People such as me spend a lot of time trying to make sense of their life. I believe that everything we do is leading us to a place in our life. What is in store for them? Why did God or their God choose this path for them? In my religion we believe that we are here for a small time and these tracks we lay in life pave our way to a greater ending. Some get comfort from the certainty of death in believing that there is something greater. That is does not end with death. When you think of religion and its teachings, you are taught for example the Ten Commandments. These are guidelines that will lead us to eternal bliss. I think that many religions operate in the same way. Describe three (3) examples of behaviors or beliefs you observe that meet the criteria you established above. The first example I can think of shows belief and observance on certain days. Usually in the Christian belief they use Wednesday and Sunday church services for this time. In the Christian religion you worship on Wednesday evenings along with Sunday morning service and Sunday evening services. The main service takes place on Sunday mornings that is usually when the......

...The article that was chosen for this paper is called Social of Religion- World Religions. World Religions seemed appealing and was wondering how sociology could play a part in people’s lives in terms of religion when it’s involved. For the most part, it could play a part cause involves them and those who do not have a religion because it defines how people would act in society. It helped a lot due to taking the world Religion class last quarter and the article spoke on a few religions we touched on in that class. For the portion of the article it talks about the different religions. They are major monotheistic religions, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Major non-monotheistic religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, and Agnosticism and Atheism. In the World Religion article by Wienclaw, Ruth A (2009), when talking about these religions it seemed like the information that was given was a recap of information that most people already know. This article has two sections where it gave more insight on where it was going and the titles are called Other Approaches and Viewpoints. It gave insight to how to take the information given from these different religions. This article seems like it got some information from researching about the different religions or using a book that talked about all these religions. From the Wienclaw, reading this article gave some insight to really understand different types of religions because there could be things we can learn from their......

...and your own personal perspective.  In 1500 words, summarize your findings, and compare and contrast the different belief systems, reinforcing major themes with insights gained from your research. Some of the questions to consider when researching the chosen religions are: 1. What is the spiritual perspective on healing? 2. What are the critical components of healing, such as prayer, meditation, belief, etc.? 3. What is important to people of a particular faith when cared for by health care providers whose spiritual beliefs differ from their own? 4. How do patients view health care providers who are able to let go of their own beliefs in the interest of the beliefs and practices of the patient? Compare these beliefs to the Christian philosophy of faith and healing.  In your conclusion, describe what you have learned from your research and how this learning can be applied to a health care provider practice.  This assignment uses a grading rubric. Assignment: Final: World Religions Report

...Jehovah’s Witness XXX XXX HUM/130 XXX XXX November 7, 2010 Jehovah’s Witnesses Jehovah’s Witness are a religion that is very different from other mainstream religions. Jehovah’s Witness are not only a very reverent religion, but they also have many ideals that many people could never grow to accept. When speaking with my friend, Stacey Brown, she told me some information about her religion that, to be honest, was very surprising. I also learned interesting information about the Jehovah’s Witnesses place of worship, which they call a Kingdom Hall, which I was unaware of before this paper. Jehovah’s Witnesses are essentially a group of organized Christians, who proclaim that Jehovah is a loving and just God, who is deserving of humanities love and also obedience. Most Jehovah’s Witnesses, including my friend, used to be Catholic or Protestant but have converted. The basis of every one of the teachings that the Jehovah’s preach and study is found in the Bible. She informed me that studying the Bible daily is very important to Jehovah’s Witness. One thing that they do insist is that they are awaiting fulfillment of many of the various prophecies. The reasoning behind Jehovah’s Witnesses going from door-to-door proclaiming their faith is that they are following the example that Jesus set for them when he journeyed from city to city preaching and declaring the good news of the kingdom of God. Contrary to what many may believe, they do not interpret every passage......

...Matthew Catan March 29, 2015 Introduction to World Religions Assignment #5 What are the contrasting notions of the feminine and the role of women in Hindu tradition and scripture? Discuss using examples. The view and role of women in Hindu society has varied greatly over the religions history. It is important to note which source is being analyzed because the views of women vary between different texts. In Ancient Hindu scripture, specifically the Vedas, there is mix on the role of women’s in society. In the Mahabharata and the Ramayana women are viewed as equals and very positively. However, in the “remembered texts” women are seen to be less equal then men. It is important to note the Hindu’s thoughts on the gender of God. Devi, the goddess of female power, is worshiped by many of the followers of Shaktism. Also, the main god has male and female deity subcomponents. These sub deities are the goddess Shiva, who is seen as an equal to the god Vishnu. This is evidence to support that worshipers of the Hindu faith do not have a problem with women having power and control. Even in the scriptures of the Vedas we see women as teachers. One of these teachers is Gargi. She is seen as very philosophical figure that was seen as equal and in some cases smarter than many of the male philosophers. Another indicator that Hindu women are more respected than traditionally thought is looking at Hindu marriage ceremony. The groom is required to ask the brides father for her......

...our attention to the six dimensions of religion: doctrines, rituals, myths, ethics, experience and society. These are very important elements of religion. All religions have doctrines which are at the center of their activities. The doctrines involve the codes, creeds and the cult. Again, all religions have the performance of rituals. The rituals are performed in physical terms but have spiritual implication for the believer. It is these rituals that enable man to identify with the spiritual world. Examples of such rituals include libation, prayers, sacrifice, etc. Furthermore, all religions have a mythological element that makes it difficult to explain the inexplicable. Countless stories abound in the world religions about their founders, their experiences and their concept of the spirit. There are myths that are not easy to comprehend. Again, every religion has an ethical dimension. They all emphasize on good conduct or morality. No religion encourages bad or unacceptable conduct. Believers are enjoined to live a way of life that reflects the philosophy of the religion. The codes are expected to be followed religiously by members. The day to day activities of believers and what they perceive as the interference of the spiritual is seen as the experiential dimension. Issues like miracles and healing are linked to religious experience. Most religions have these elements. Lastly, religion is society based. There can be no religion without society. It takes place in......

Religion Field Assignment

...Mr. Weaver Religion 101 9 April 2015 Assignment #2- Field Assignment For this assignment, I decided to visit Lexington Baptist Church. This experience was much different than anything I had previously experienced because as I stated in my previous essay regarding my religion and experiences, I have only ever gone to one church. I have not visited other churches other than a Catholic church, and it was very similar to my Lutheran services. The Baptist church I visited was Southern Baptist, and I have always wanted to sit in on one of their services. I decided to go on Easter because I could visit Lexington Baptist, and then go straight to my church and compare the similarities and differences. Going into this assignment, I was not sure if there were going to be enough differences, but there are quite a few. Since I went on Easter, the messages were the same, but the delivery was so unique that it made the whole message sound different. For example, the preacher at Lexington Baptist took the message of the stone in front of Jesus’ tomb, and related it to his congregation. He stated that, like Jesus, we all have stones blocking us in life. At my Lutheran service, the message was not related to us in our personally lives, but rather focused on how Jesus died for all of us and the story of what happened on Good Friday. While the basic messages were the same, the perspective that each denomination took were quite different. I also found it very interesting that......

...Defining Religion Defining & measuring religion is very hard. Religion can be so personal that it's impossible to express and to quantifiably measure There tends to be 2 ways: Substance - trying to get what the essence of religion is Function - what religion does in society Inclusivist & exclusivist o Inclusivist definitions take a broad view of what constitutes 'religion'. They could include [political movements, social movements and organisation etc. as long as they seem to carry out the functions of religion. o This could be a tautological way to define religion - a religion is something that appears to carry out the function of a religion. But what are the functions of religion? Who decides and on what criteria? o Exclusivist definitions take a narrower view of what constitutes a religion. They try and narrow down to the specifically religious and would exclude political movements for eg. o The problem here is in defining what constitutes 'religious'. Getting to the core of 'the religious' is v difficult. Glock & Stark Measuring religion They suggest 5 dimensions of religion that could be applied in order to measure the degree of religiosity in a society o Belief - the essential beliefs of a religion - core theology o Practice - acts of public and private worship and ritual o Experience - subjunctive feelings of being associated with some higher power or being o Knowledge - depth of......

I found out that all religions practice their beliefs different that my religion which is Christianity. The have different holidays than we do and some don’t even celebrate the same way we do when it comes to holidays .I am going to explain what about the Jewish holidays ,the rituals and elements which they use to celebrate their holy day and explain the similarities between holy days and celebrations if there is any difference between them. I would also want to find out if I would want to celebrate a holy day .I would also like to find out the history of the holy day and how it is celebrated today compared to years ago. I hope you get the same feeling about Judaism as I do, because what I read will stick with me the rest of my life. There are five books of Moses and they read, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
